Mittelmoda celebrates its 18th edition renewing its special and significant collaboration with the id Dunedin Fashion Week, a yearly event promoted by the ID Fashion Commitee, City Council and Dunedin Fashion Incubator to promote local designers and young international ones. The innovative and recognised fashion design contest took place from 8th to 14th March 2010 on the other side of the globe: New Zealand. 

Withing the Fashion Week, Dunedin hosted the 6th edition of the well-known ID Emerging Designers, fashion competition which is one of the mile stone events of the Dunedin ID Fashion Week.

Mittelmoda_the fashion award had the pleasure once again to take a seat among jurors which evaluated the fashion proposals and help chose the winners of the Emerging Designer Fashion Show. Mittelmoda / ID renewed mutual support is one of the side project of M.I.L. - Mittelmoda International Lab.
The winner of the precious Mittelmoda Award was the 27-year-old Igor Galas, from the Faculty of Textile Technology in Zagreb, Croatia, who was selected among 120 entries from 30 countries and showcased his collection – Protector from Knitted Galaxy along with the other 28 ID Emerging Designers Awards finalists in representance of 20 countries in the 5 continents.
Igor was awarded the 1st Prize, too.
